Request plumbing service in Houston

A minute of detail is all a plumber needs to come back to you ready to work. Mark the request urgent if it is an emergency.

Urgent problem?

Water you cannot stop, sewage inside the house, or no water at all should be marked urgent so a plumber picks it up first.

A plumbing help and request site. Requests go to independent plumbing companies, who do the work.

What happens after you send a request

Your request comes to us first. We read what you wrote so it goes to a provider who handles that kind of work.

We pass the details on to an independent plumbing company that works in your area.

That provider contacts you directly to ask questions, confirm the address and arrange a time.

You and the provider agree the price and the scope between yourselves. We are not part of that conversation and we do not set prices.

The provider carries out the work and is responsible for it.

We cannot tell you how quickly a provider will come back to you, or promise that a particular company will take the job. Availability depends on the provider, the day and what the work involves. Anyone who guarantees a time before seeing your request is guessing.

What to put in the request

A minute of detail is the difference between a provider calling you back with questions and a provider calling you back ready to work.

What is happening, in your own words. Where the water is, which fixtures are affected, what you can hear.

When it started, and whether it is getting worse.

What you have already done. If you shut a valve off, say which one.

The property address, or at least the ZIP code, so the request reaches someone who works there.

Whether it is a house, an apartment, a rental or a commercial space, and who is able to approve the work.

A phone number and an email address you will actually answer today.

A photo if you can take one safely. One picture of the leak, or of the label on the water heater, saves a round of questions.

What you can describe here

Something is flooding

Burst pipe, an open leak, sewage coming up inside. Say so plainly and mark it urgent.

Emergency plumbing →

Water will not go down

A slow sink, a gurgling tub, standing water in a shower pan, or the same drain backing up again.

Drain cleaning →

No hot water

Cold showers, rusty water, popping from the tank, or water in the pan under it.

Water heater services →

Something does not add up

A water bill that climbed, a damp patch with no source, the sound of running water with everything off.

Leak detection →

Anything plumbing related is fine, including a second opinion on work someone has already quoted you. If it turns out to be outside plumbing, we will tell you rather than pass it on.

Who actually does the work

Houston Plumbing Solutions is a plumbing information and service request site. We do not perform plumbing work, we do not employ plumbers and we do not hold a plumbing license. Sending this form does not book us; it connects your request with an independent plumbing company. That company sets the price, does the work and is responsible for it. Before work starts, ask the provider for their license information and confirm it.
